And, here is the news release on the company's recent acquisition to better serve the TMS.

Global Vessel & Tank, LLC, a privately held leading manufacturer of Oil & Gas Surface Production Equipment announces its acquisition of Commercial Construction Company, Inc. and LaSalle, Inc.

These are two companies that have specialized in the manufacturing of API 12-F Storage Tanks and Oil & Gas Surface Production Equipment for the past  42 years. Commercial Construction and LaSalle's  legacy was started by Charles Landrum in 1972, opening its doors to serve the production needs of the industry near Laurel, Mississippi.  “Commercial Construction Company brings a best in class management team with a reputation for great customer service and a passion for excellence”, says Scot Hartman, Vice President of Sales.

“The additional experience and three more facilities will add to Global Vessel & Tank’s continued growth as a manufacturer of ASME Code and API certified Oil & Gas Process Equipment. This investment is beneficial to our employees and customers as related to the strategic locations of the manufacturing assets and the experienced teams Commercial and LaSalle bring.

The acquisition expands our current capacities with additional square footage of manufacturing space totaling approximately 200,000 square feet.  The acquisitions  will also add a newly upgraded transportation fleet equipped with onboard knuckle-boom cranes that add cost saving measures with regard to logistics for our customer base in the Tuscaloosa Marine Shale, Eagle Ford Shale, Haynesville Shale up into central Oklahoma and  the Gulf Coast Region" says Hartman.

Our company will be well positioned for equipment demand in the Liquid Natural Gas (LGN) market once exports commence in 2015 along the Gulf of Mexico. As a result of our newly defined geographic locations,  Global Vessel and Tank can respond quickly to upswings in demand whether it is on the production or export side of the industry.

In early 2012, Global Vessel & Tank formed a partnership with the previous management team of United Vessel & Tank, LLC. The Principals of Global Vessel & Tank have a combined experience of over 160 years in the Oil & Gas Process Equipment Industry.

Global currently operates in Longview, Texas, and New Iberia, Louisiana. This acquisition includes a total of three additional facilities. Commercial Construction adds two manufacturing facilities in Laurel, Mississippi and LaSalle, Inc. adds one in Olla, Louisiana.

The combination of the two companies establishes Global Vessel & Tank as the largest privately held tank and vessel manufacturer in the southeastern United States

Our success at Global is built by forming partnerships with our clients and aligning their needs through our capabilities.  We believe that by investing capital in the most efficient shop equipment, such as our fully integrated German robotic welding systems designed exclusively for Global, our customers will benefit by lowering cost and reducing lead times for their facilities.
