Goodrich upcoming plans - 6/22/14
Thanks to several of you for sharing information with me today.
Here's what I have learned and what I predict.
In Louisiana, there appears to be at least one and maybe two sites ready to go in Silver Creek Field near the Blades 33H, but neither have been permitted. The Kent well is permitted, though its field is not and likely won't be until July 8. Moreover, the Kent site is being worked on feverishly, but is doubtful to be ready this week.
Also, as someone reminded me this morning, the Weyerhaeuser 51H has never had production, so it is entirely possible this unit is drilled again. It is nearby to the Denkmann, so is a distinct possibility.
In Mississippi the Spears 31-6H-1 was approved for drilling via the emergency docket in June. This well will be drilled from the existing C H Lewis 30-19H site.
There is likely a site north of Centreville near the Crosby 12-1H-1 site that is ready to go, but I haven't checked lately.
Goodrich reportedly has a 4th replacement rig headed here soon; the Bates 25-24H-1 well should be finished shortly and its current rig ready to move in the next week to 10 days, and the CMR-Foster Creek 20-13H shouldn't be far behind.
So, I'm going to guess Goodrich plans to drill the following wells...
Nabors X-17 moving from Denkmann to Spears 31-6H-1...though, this a.m., I'm thinking it is possible the Weyerhaeuser 51H may be tried again since it is nearby to the Denkmann...we shall see.
Ensign Rig # 753 moving from the Bates 25-24H-1 to either a Silver Creek Field site or the Kent well site in Tangipahoa Parish.
Unknown new rig will likely be assigned to a site near the Blades 33H-1 or the Kent site.
Nabors Rig #624 will likely move from the CMR-Foster Creek 20-13H-1 to a nearby site.
In the meantime, I'm going to guess that Goodrich will put forth a concerted effort to prepare several sites in several locations ASAP.
